Weekly Prayer Gatherings. We meet regularly on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. in Room 119, to pray for our worship services, and again on Tuesdays at 6:30 a.m. to pray for the needs of our church family, our church's ministries, and to pray for our community. All are welcome to join us.
Written Prayer Requests received on Sundays are prayed for throughout the week by our at-home Prayer team.* In addition, there are two "Prayer Chains," one for general needs, and the other for needs of families surrounding pregnancy. Please call the church office at 782-3186 if you would like to receive prayer.
Prayer Partners are available after each Sunday worship service for people to come with personal prayer needs or joys to share. If you have a heart to lift up those in need of prayer and would like to be a part of this ministry please contact Judy Holsinger.
Urgent Prayer Ministry receives prayers and shares them confidentially through a phone chain. If you feel called to intercessory prayer for those in crisis, please contact the church office.
Baby Prayer Team ministers to those families who are pregnant (both healthy and those with a difficult pregnancy); who desire to be pregnant or to adopt a child; and those whose infants have developed health or other issues of concern. This email-based team agrees to continue to pray for these precious babies up until their 1st birthday! Team members count it a privilege to share in both the joys and challenges faced by these families. For further information, to place a request, or to join the Baby Prayer Team, please contact Sue Julian or Connie Baker.
The Military Prayer Ministry focuses on praying for the men and women serving in the armed services (and their families) at this critical time of need in our nation and world. Please look for the Military Prayer Ministry flyer in the brochures rack at church. For more information, contact Pam Misco.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and have a heart for prayer, please consider this ministry. We have an easy-to-follow pattern for a prayer shawl. While creating the shawl, you pray for whoever God has in mind to bless with it. We have many testimonies of individuals who have received a shawl at a time of great need in their lives--physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They have been blessed with its warmth, and the knowledge that they are cared for and prayed over.
If you're interested, please call us at 782-3186 ext. 54.
*At Home Pray-ers. Many in our church family need and ask for prayer in our weekly bulletin. If you would like to become a pray-er in your home you will be sent a weekly list of those in need of prayer. You can then pray when and as often as you feel the need. All prayer lists are confidential. Call the church office to be added to the PRAY-ERS mailing list.
If you have any questions or ideas, please feel free to contact Sandy Dickey or Greg Larson, our Prayer, Care & Compassion Elders.
"Don't worry about anything. Instead pray about everything.
Tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers.
In this way you will experience His peace ..." Philippians 4:6-7
