Contemporary music is at the heart of a contemporary service. The heart of our contemporary worship is to see Jesus lifted up in our community, to bring the people into the presence of God, and to see the lost come to know Him in a real and meaningful way. Contemporary music at FPC strives to do just that.
Currently, there are two services that use  contemporary music. Our 8:30 Contemporary Music Service is led by Pat Neal, Director of Contemporary Worship, and features top 40 Christian Worship Songs and a sermon delivered by a "live" pastor. Our 9:45 Worship Cafe Service features the same "live" worship experience, again led by Pat Neal, and a sermon delivered via large 10' x 10' video screens. There is also at least one "live" Pastor in the Cafe Service to minister to the needs of the Congregation. The music is 3 part "gospel" style vocals, with a guitar - synthesizer driven sound.
There are openings for all instrumental positions, by audition. No paid positions are available at this time. Please call Duron (worship admin.) for more information at 916/782-3186 ext. 27.
