revolt: vi. to refuse to submit to authority, custom, etc.; rebel, mutiny.
revolution: n. a complete or radical change of any kind.
revolutionary: adj. bringing about or constituting a great or radical change.
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2a
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
The revolution that we are seeking is not one of rebellion, although it will be a huge spiritual battle, but one of immense change in the hearts and minds of Sr. High students. We need to seek the simple, but complex truth in God's call to love Him and to love others. Therefore, the Sr. High Program at FPC will seek out a revolution in our relationship with God and others. From this stems all other purpose. We will love God through worship and discipleship, and we will love others through our evangelism, service, and even our fellowship. We need to not be mediocre in these, but seek out revolutionary forms of these purposes.
