
Diana Kelly is the Director of the FPC Children's Choir.
Diana began singing in church choir when she was in the fourth grade and hasn't staopped since. One of her favorite quotes is, "He who sings, prays twice". (St. Augustine)
She has chosen Ps. 95:1 as the theme vers for the FPC Children's Choir, "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord".
Diana is married to Phil and is mother to Patrick (16), David (14), and Laura (10). When she is not serving her family or Church, she can be seen on local stages as a singer/actor. She also enjoys ballroom dancing.
If money or time were no object, I would vacation in: New Mexico and Colorado, perhaps Hawaii, Montana, the American West and Southwest. Ask me for tips if you plan to go to the Southwest. Take me along as your tour guide?
My favorite ethnic food is: New Mexican chili rellenos, calabasitas, and sopaipillas stuffed or with honey. Also Japanese. Calabasitas is a dish with zucchini and corn. Sopaipillas are the
New Mexican cross between a Mexican tortilla and Native American Fry bread. Think of deep
frying a triangle of tortilla dough. It puffs into a pillow. Bite off a corner and drizzle honey inside.

My favorite Christian book (not the Bible) is: What's A Christian to do with Harry Potter? by: Connie Neal.
My favorite secular book is: any of Tony Hillerman's Navajo Policeman Mysteries, but especially
"The Blessing Way".
My favorite movie is: too many favorites, but my favorite musical is "The Music Man" because it has a theme similar to my favorite Bible verse: Philipians 4:8 Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-- think about such things. I am hoping to play Marion in Rocklin's "Music Man" next December. That'll take prayer!
If I could meet any deceased person (besides Jesus) it would be: Martin Luther because: I bet he gave some great sermons.
If I knew I only had a month to live I would: sing and dance (waltz, swing, tango) more, visit my relatives and the Southwest with my family, and play with my kids. Definitely eat more sopaipillas!
I have a heart for people in: the performing arts, and kids.
