Deacons are called and elected to care for the needs of our church family, and extended community. The care they provide includes:
- Giving meals and other practical assistance to those who are sick, or recently hospitalized.
- Providing transportation to worship or events.
- Sharing ministry with the homebound of our church and community, writing cards.
- Leading worship at nearby skilled nursing homes.
- Keeping a Food Closet; and coordinating food baskets at holiday times.
- Assisting church members, and others, in financial need.
