Women's Small Groups

New Women's Group Starting:

Sandie Hart Small Group
Join Sandie as she facilitates this new small group using "The Life You've Always Wanted." In this series, John Ortbert demystifies historic spiritual disciplines and uses humor and personal stories to help you integrate them into your life and become open to God's transforming work.

Day: Wednesday evenings, starting April 16

New this Spring: Women of the Word Study

Beth Moore Series: Daniel
Facilitated by Angela Richards and Lynn D'Anjou, this class will go through the Beth Moore DVD study on the fascinating book of Daniel.

Day: Monday mornings, starting May 5
Time: 9:15 - 11:15 a.m.
Location: Annex, FPC campus

Sundays:

Dottie Odell Group

Dottie's group's members vary in their backgrounds (single, married) but are united in their desire to seek God's leadership in their lives. They are a very supportive group who encourage one another through the ups and downs of life. They are studying Philippians.

Day: Sunday afternoons, twice monthly
Time: 4 - 6 p.m.
Location: Member's homes

Tuesdays:

Lynn Jorgenson Group

Lynn Jorgenson leads a small group of women in Granite Bay that have studied together and cared for one another for over 20 years! Lynn creates many of her own study materialsand the group is currently studying the book of Colossians. The group would love for you to join them.

Day: Tuesday mornings
Time: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Location: Granite Bay home

Joyce Feramisco Group

Joyce Feramisco leads a group of women who are all 60+, but they welcome all ages to join them! They spend time catching up on each others' lives, sharing prayer requests, and studying together. Currently they are studying the four gospels. Come join them!

Day: Tuesday afternoons
Time: 1:30 - 3 p.m.
Location: Library, FPC campus

Thursdays:

Mary Kay Dyer and Marlys Derania Group

This group calls themselves "Angels of Prayer." It consists of 8+ ladies who love being together. They are there for each other for all kinds of family situations and all serve in the community either together or as individuals. AND they love to celebrate birthdays!

Day: Thursday evenings
Time: 6:15 - 8 p.m.
Location: Roseville home

Moms of Teens

Do you have a teenager that has rolled their eyes at least once today? Join a small group of moms trying to survive their children's crazy, wonderful adolescent years. They use current books that meet the needs of their group. The group is facilitated by Sue Walden.

Day: Thursday evenings, twice monthly
Time: 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Locations: offsite coffee house

Fridays:

Heidi Johnson

This group of forty to fifty-something moms gathers for laughs, fellowship, prayer and a variety of studies designed to help them live God's word in their daily lives. They doing a study on Ephesians from the Following God series by Eddie Rasnake.

Day: Fridays
Time : 9:00 a.m.
Location: Granite Bay/Roseville home

Single Women Servants (55+)

Are you widowed, divorced or single? Would you like to join with other women over age 55 like yourself? Judy Johnson and Kay Klint have a small group just for you. They study scripture together, and support one another through friendship and prayers. Members of the group often go out to lunch together after church on Sunday.

Day: Every other Friday
Time : 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Monthly Small Groups

Latte Ladies for the Lord

This monthly group sips on coffee while participating in casual Bible discussion led by facilitator Rosalie Miller. Drop-ins (and even tea-lovers!) are very welcome.

Day: Third Saturday of the month
Time: 9 a.m.
Location: Annex, FPC campus

Other Groups

Women in Sun City Lincoln Hills

There are four daytime small groups for women in Lincoln Hills. They study scripture, love and care for one another, serve our community, support one another in prayer, and enjoy each other's company through events such as potlucks and teas. A fifth study will form when these groups are full.
