We have a wonderful variety of small groups and bible studies to choose from here women_talking.jpgat FPC.  We have W.O.W. (Women of the Word) classes on Monday and Wednesday mornings.There are several "women only" small groups that meet throughout the week as well.  Community Bible Study, Presbyterian Women, and Latte Ladies are just some of the bible studies we have available for you to join.  E-mail Women's Ministry or give us a call at 782-3186 ext. 41.
 
W.O.W. Women Of the Word
 

Here is a look at our fall series for W.O.W.

Monday Morning believing_god.jpgBible Study:  Led by Julie Battenfield, this 10-week class meets from 9:15-11:00 in the annex.  Beginning on September 15th, we'll go through the Beth Moore DVD study and workbook together. Childcare is available, and the cost of the class is $20.  The class ends on November 17th.

New Wednesday morning class: Beginning on September 3rd, Jenni Perry will cross_and_heart.jpglead a new women's Bible study on works of Solomon:  Ecclesiastes, selected Proverbs, and Song of Solomon.  This Wednesday morning class meets from 9:30-11:30 AM in room 200 of the FLC.  Childcare is available, and there will be a small fee for materials. 


Registration begins on August 24th out on the courtyard.

There are many small groups, classes, and bible studies for women.  Look over our small group catalog for more ideas.

We meet on the third Saturday of the month in the annex from 9-11 am. It's a drop-in, no-RSVP-required bible study with time for prayer, sharing, and eating a muffin! The leader is Rosalie Miller.


Join us on August 23rd (note the date change) in the FPC annex.   We always have a place for you!

We gather in the dining room on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year for a light meal, singing, bible study, and fellowship. Join us on June 4th at 10:30 am as we finish our studies of Jonah and Ruth. Bring your bible and $4 to cover food costs. Please contact MaryBeth Watson or Women's Ministry if you're interested.


 
Community Bible Study

Community Bible Study

CBS is an interdenominational study of different books of the bible. It runs from September-May on Thursdays here at FPC.
Thursday Mornings:  9-11 am, including worship, class lectures, small groups, and fellowship.  There is a wonderful children's program as well.  This year's study will look at 1 & 2 Peter, Daniel, and Colossians.
                               Thursday Evenings: 7:00-8:35 pm, including worship, class lectures, and small groups. (No childcare).  This year's study will look at James, Philippians, and Hebrews.  There is also a men's program on Thursday evenings.

There is a participation fee and registration is required, but you can join anytime over the course of the year. This is a wonderfu way to dig deeper into the bible, and make Christian friends within the community. Please contact the church to register at 782-3186.
